Explore the Beaches

There are many different beaches along the facade of Playa Del Carmen. And you don't have to pay a beach club to enjoy it. In fact, all of Mexico's beaches are free and open to the public. Take a stroll on the beach or take your beach towel and soak up the sun. If you want to go to a beach club, many will offer you free chairs if you have purchased a minimum of services such as drinks and food. Go to Fundadores Park

Also called the founding fathers park, it is a park located at the foot of Avenue Juarez and the beach, also next to the Cozumel ferry dock. Take a walk on 5th avenue

It is the pedestrian street of Playa Del Carmen which is not far from the hotels. It is one of the main attractions of the city. There are tons of restaurants, shops and more to explore here. It is very electric and the street is different between day and night. When the sun goes down, people go out for dinner and stroll around the avenue. If you don't like shopping, there are fun places to take photos along this avenue. 

Make sure to keep an eye out for street performers. There are imitators and people who act like statues. Some of the best places to see are 5th avenue and Calle 3 Sur of the Paseo Del Carmen shopping center and 5th avenue in front of the Quinta Alegria shopping center.
