There are many different beaches along the facade of Playa Del Carmen. And you don't have to pay a beach club to enjoy it. In fact, all of Mexico's beaches are free and open to the public. Take a stroll on the beach or take your beach towel and soak up the sun. If you want to go to a beach club, many will offer you free chairs if you have purchased a minimum of services such as drinks and food. You can also go snorkeling / snorkeling on the beaches of Playa Del Carmen, that's also free!

Also called the founding fathers park, it is a park located at the foot of Avenue Juarez and the beach, also next to the Cozumel ferry dock. If you don't like shopping, there are fun places to take photos along this avenue. 

Make sure to keep an eye out for street performers. There are imitators and people who act like statues. Some of the best places to see are 5th avenue and Calle 3 Sur of the Paseo Del Carmen shopping center and 5th avenue in front of the Quinta Alegria shopping center.
